Privacy policy
This policy explains what information EmberWrap collects when you visit the store or place an order, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what's needed to fulfill your order and run the store, we don't sell your personal information, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.
What we collect
- Order information. When you buy, we collect your name, shipping address, email address, and phone number (if provided) — what's needed to deliver your order, send tracking, and handle returns and support.
- Device and analytics information. Like most stores, we automatically receive basic technical data when you browse: IP address, browser and device type, and which pages you view. We use it in aggregate to understand how the store is used and to keep it working.
- Email marketing. If you opt in to our email list, we store your email address to send you the occasional update. Opting in is always your choice, and you can unsubscribe with one click in any email.
How we use it
- To fulfill and ship your order, and to send order and tracking emails.
- To handle support and returns when you email us.
- To improve the store based on how it's actually used.
- To send marketing email — only if you opted in.
Who processes your data
The store runs on Shopify, which processes order and browsing data on our behalf as the platform provider. You can read how Shopify handles data in the Shopify Privacy Policy. We also share your name and address with shipping carriers — that's how the package finds you.
Payment information
Your payment details never touch our servers. Payments are handled entirely by Shopify's payment processors, which are PCI-compliant. We never see or store your full card number.
Cookies
The store uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your session, and gather the analytics described above. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the cart may not function without them.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. One click, and you're off the list.
- Access or deletion: email hello@emberwrap.com and we'll share what we hold about you or delete it. We may need to keep basic order records where the law requires (for taxes, for example), and we'll tell you if so.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone beyond the services named above that are needed to run the store.
